DIZH-funded Project “RADICAL”: AI-supported Clinical Decision-Making in Radiology
Digital Health Zurich is pleased to highlight the start of the DIZH-funded research project RADICAL – Radiology: AI-driven Clinical Decision-Making with Multimodal Exploration. The project explores how advanced AI methods can support and streamline clinical decision-making processes in radiology.
At its core, the project integrates multiple data modalities – including imaging data, clinical information, and textual reports – to develop transparent and interpretable AI tools that assist radiology teams. The aim is to enhance diagnostic quality while reducing workload in complex clinical scenarios.
The project is funded by the Digitalization Initiative of the Zurich Universities (DIZH) and is driven by a strong interdisciplinary collaboration across research, clinical practice, and technology partners.
